OFI Journal 61, the October issue is now at the printer. The digital e-Journal is online now for those who want to have a sneak preview.
OFI PARTIPATION IN SHAQUARIA 2009
In October 2009 OFI will participate in Shaquaria 2009 in Shanghai China. As we announced last week OFI member Shanghai NIU International Exhibition Co. Ltd has made available five booths especially for OFI members at a seriously reduced rate of 100 Euro only. For more info contact read the previous Members Update or contact Emma Wang at: shniu_emma@yahoo.cn.
As your Secretary General I will represent OFI at this fair and also give a presentation at the seminar.
ADVERT IN OFI BOOK
The secretariat has started the preparation for the next OFI book. This book will provide a standard for scientific names in our industry. It will become a standard work with not only names and trade names of species of ornamental fish, crustaceans and mollusks; we will also try to include a large number of photo's of the species. It will be a supporting tool to fill in health certificates on-line in the OFI website in the future.

The OFI Code of Conduct is now on-line. We have already a received a few declarations (on-line now). You can also go to the pages to fill in for your own company on the page in the OFI website. We will present the result of your self-declaration into your information in the Members' Directory. Please fill in the relevant questionnaires and also the declaration with guarantees. We look forward receiving your declaration of quality and expertise!
25 YEARS AQUARIUM GLASER
On 11 September OFI member Aquarium Glaser celebrates its 25th anniversary. In this 25 years Aquarium Glaser has grown to be one of the leading importers/exporters of ornamental aquatic animals in the world, with an active role in new developments, new strategies and in expertise. Congratulations to Fam. Glaser and all the staff of Aquarium Glaser.
